If your child hasn't read this, but wants to, here's the basics. Girl meets boy, boy is a vampire, they fall in love and there is a few complications along the way (see: standard love triangle and star crossed romance)
Warnings:
- Once you hit book 3, there are many references to sex. Bella wants to have it, Edward wants to wait, but Bella is the narrator, and thus keeps pushing for sex.
- Book 4, Bella marries young and gets pregnant immediately. She gives birth in a very violent way that is explained - Edward rips open her stomach so the baby is born before turning her.
- Unhealthy relationship alert! Book 2 has Bella depressed when Edward leaves and can't get over it. Make sure your child doesn't take this to heart.
